Surviving Quints Spend Good Night in Hospital
TOULON France Roland and Michele the two surviving Christofle quintuplets spent an excellent night, doctors report. The quintuplets were born three months prematurely to Mr and Mrs Camille Christofle. A boy Philippe and two girls Helene and Genevieve died within 12 hours. The two survivors remain in a cot at a local hospital. Roland weighed 2 pounds Michele 2.1 pounds at birth.

Grandmother Kills Boy Then Herself in Los Angeles
A 9 year old boy Ronald Barrett White was found shot dead in an abandoned Woodland Hills house. His grandmother Allene Durston 48 lay dead from a self inflicted wound, pistol in hand. Costa Mesa Hero Neighbor Saves 2 in Fire
An elderly rancher, Howard Webster, 87, died in a dawn fire at a small five room home in Costa Mesa. His wife Emile, 87, and son Hugh Haviland Webster, 44, were critically burned. Marine Sgt.
