California crime policy defenders rebut Reagan attack

Gunman Held L B Couple Ten Hours In Home
A youth in his early 20s forced entry at 2142 Elm Avenue Long Beach tying up a couple for ten hours. He claimed to have abducted another pair near a San Diego forest camp and described fleeing to mountains to shoot rabbits. After beverages and a phone call to his father, he released the others and left at 11:10 am, prompting police to be summoned.

Rites Held for Former Fort Worth Aircraft Government Attorney
Private funeral services were held for Ralph Yeo, 68, a former government attorney involved in a San Diego tax assessor scandal.
