Muskie Edges Nixon Among Young Voters in Poll
A Harris survey of 2,014 households Sept 7–14 shows 18 to 20 year olds favor Muskie 42 to 42 with 18–29 year olds backing him 43 to 31 against Nixon. Humphrey and Lindsay also trail Nixon but remain competitive as 18-year-olds gain vote eligibility.
