Tear Gas Manuals Withheld From Salazar Inquest
The Los Angeles inquest into Ruben Salazar’s death heard that the Sheriff’s Department refused to provide certain training manuals on tear gas guns, labeling them classified. Attorney Douglas Dalton said a subpoena was blocked by hearing officer Norman Pittluck who cited authority limits as the inquest continued into its 14th day at the Hall of Records.
