White House Top Dog Clipper A German Shepherd at the White House
A black and tan German Shepherd named Clipper moves into the White House and is described as larger than the resident pair, Charlie the Welsh terrier and Pushinka. Clipper traveled with the Kennedys from Cape Cod on their return from Thanksgiving. Caroline Kennedy hosted a birthday party as John Jr. neared his second birthday. The President and Mrs. Kennedy attended mass in Hyannis and later ice skated at Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. rink. Medical updates on the President's back were provided by Dr Hang Kraus with new exercises.
