Jordan High quarterback Jack Harden and Poly end Earle Church earned back and lineman of the week honors after strong showings in wins. Harden ran for 69 yards, scored three touchdowns, and went 5 of 10 passing for 84 yards in Jordan 25 7 win over Lakewood. Church snagged two touchdown catches, 16 and 28 yards, in Poly 18 6 victory over Downey, and added a fumble recovery and strong defense. Both received honors at the Long Beach Harbor Trojan Club meeting Monday night.
