Witness says police broke in at the suspect Albert Raymond Savage Jr. 2 residence as detectives searched a Lakewood home. His wife Sherrie Savage testified she paid rent for one day after the June 2 1970 search, while the owner authorized entry. Defense contests the search and seeks suppression of statements, with Judge Vasey to rule. Savage, once at large, was shot while escaping and disabled by a wound.
