Edward J. McCormack Sr. 67 brother of Speaker John W. McCormack died Sunday at Veterans Administration Hospital in Jamaica Plain Massachusetts. A well known South Boston political figure he campaigned for his son Edward J. McCormack Jr. and was nicknamed Knocko for his habit of helping others.
