Slayer of Six Gets Death

New Haven Connecticut reports Arthur James Davis, convicted of six murders, was sentenced to death by electric chair by a three judge Superior Court panel. The execution is set for January 18 at Somers prison. Davis showed no visible emotion, nodding to his mother as he left. Prosecutors argued he planned the killings, while the defense claimed exhaustion intoxication and emotional distress influenced his actions.

Johnson approves Medal of Honor for four Viet Nam heroes
