Hammocks for Astros Put in Lunar Lander
Apollo 12 astronauts Charles Conrad Jr and Alan L Bean will sleep in hammocks inside the lunar lander to avoid the cramped floor space suffered by Apollo 11. They plan to sleep in their suits using the water cooled garment and may adopt lighter wear if needed. Dehydrated scrambled eggs will be rehydrated with lunar water for breakfast, replacing cold spaghetti or turkey. The interior design hopes to improve rest during moon missions.
