Illinoisans Giving Plant Sites Away at Real Estate Board Meet
A team led by Robert S Henderson of Southern Illinois University promotes industrial site drawings at the National Association of Real Estate Boards convention in San Francisco. Five daily drawings grant one quarter acre or larger sites in Pope, Randall, and Jefferson counties to winners, with eligibility limited to Society of Industrial Realtors members. Winners must develop within five years, as Henderson cites regional efforts drawing expansions by Allied Chemical, Decca Records, Mallory Plastics, Olin Mathieson, and Alton Boxboard.
