Corn meal mix recall over aflatoxin contamination
The FDA recalls 87 tons of Lil Lulu self rising white cornmeal mix and Morrison's Corn Kits from Morrison Milling Co based in Denton Texas after tests show aflatoxin levels of 95 and 70 ppb, above the 20 ppb limit. The recall affects codes T1371 to J-20-71 and M10 J11 12 113 J15 J1-71 with unknown-source corn unloaded Oct. 5. The agency probes other firms’ products for contaminated corn.
