Two Teens Die in Cliff plunge Near Angeles Crest
A car carrying four teenagers veered off a cliff on Angeles Crest Highway 3,800 feet down. Two teens, Lilia Imlay aged 16 and Wayne Lightfoot aged 16, died. The remaining occupants, Christine Dshlen 15 and John Butler, were injured and trapped. Mountain patrol crews spent nearly five hours rescuing them from the wreckage northeast of Angeles National Forest.
