Truck Driver Saves Couple From Oncoming Train
Eddie, 45, of Henderson, a truck driver, is credited with saving Pvt Richard Dillard and his wife Carolyn when their car, struck by a tire blowout, rolled toward a Louisville and Nashville passenger train. Eddie waved down the speeding train with two flares, pulling the couple to safety as the car fell onto the tracks. The incident occurred Sunday near Memphis, Tennessee.
