Father’s kidney transplanted to his daughter in San Francisco

Doctors at Merritt Hospital in San Francisco performed a seven hour operation Tuesday. Karen Huffman nine years old received a kidney from her father John Huffman 36. Transplant began functioning immediately with no complications noted. Karen had kidney problems since early 1970 and lost one kidney.

Stockmen urge repeal of wild horse protection law
