New Automatic Pediatric Bed Debuts at Memorial Children's Hospital
Nurses at Memorial Hospital Medical Center designed an automatic bed for children from 1 month to about 4 years old. In cooperation with Air-Shields, Inc, the bed features push-button control, mesh sides, Plexiglas ends, and vertical-track elevation from floor to top working level. Forty-two beds have been delivered as the Earl and Loraine Miller Children's Hospital Center readies to open within the month on the Memorial campus.
