Device Keeps Tab of Blood Pressures
New Delhi reports on studies using semi automatic recorders worn at the waist to monitor blood pressure every half hour during daily activities. Researchers from the University of California Medical School warn that casual office readings can mislead, while daily averages guide treatment. More than 300 participants record routines and emotions to assess how events affect pressure and potential heart attack risk.
