FTC moves to curb deceptive health food ads
The Federal Trade Commission announced an agreement barring false claims for sugar in the raw and similar health food ads. Cuim verland Packing Corp of Brooklyn agreed not to repeat the claims. FTC chief Robert Pitofsky said further health food claims are under investigation.
