Slayer of Ex-Fiance Held on Murder Charge
Edith Louise Hough, 41, was held on first degree murder charges in the slaying of her former fiancé Zirab Abdusheli, 40, a Voice of America employee. Abdusheli was shot six times in the apartment after he had recently married another woman. Police said Hough claimed self defense and later claimed Abdusheli’s aggressive behavior. A coroner’s inquest was scheduled for June 13.
