Music festival plan stirs Fresno County permit doubts
Rodger McAfee, linked to freeing Angela Davis on bond, seeks a permit for a four day festival on part of his farm while Fresno officials review potential risks. The project aims to gross about 2.5 million from 25,000 daily attendees at $25 each, with hearings likely delaying final action until late August. The event funds may back a 30,000 acre cooperative, and McAfee notes a cooperative farm already operates nearby.
