Dallas executive Dan Burney vanishes after garage sighting
Dallas police say Dan Burney senior vice president of LTV Corp has not been seen since a 1 pm Tuesday sighting at the LIV Tower garage. His wife Diane spoke with him by phone minutes earlier and he had planned to finish in a few minutes. Investigators initially find no leads and stress there is no evidence of kidnapping or murder. Burney has relatives in El Paso Texas and Louisiana but none report recent contact. Police checked hospitals and the morgue with no findings. Also in brief Viktor Nekrasov, Stalin Prize author, expelled from the Union of Cinematographers and warned by Kiev prosecutor and the Soviet Writers Union. He supported Solzhenitsyn and Sakharov and seeks permission to leave the country temporarily.

Supreme Court slows class actions with individual notice ruling
The Supreme Court ruled that plaintiffs in sealed class actions must notify each class member at their own expense. The decision, aligning with the 0.S. Girsult Court, could impede class yellow suits. Justice Douglas dissented, arguing the action aids small claimants against powerful interests. The ruling sends the Eisen case back for dismissal while leaving door open for future suit changes.
