In San Francisco UPI Franklin Alexander, chief of the Angela Davis defense committee, said a letter allegedly from co-defendant Ruchell Magee to Miss Davis appears authentic. The note, mailed from San Quentin April 23, claims Davis is innocent and criticizes her lawyers.
