Assistance Sought in Long Beach Crash and Storage Dispute
A Long Beach mother seeks help after her 14 year old son was hit by a hit and run driver near Atlantic Avenue and 10th Street on April 21. The driver’s name is unknown to her and she cannot walk to police to obtain the report. Action Line arranged with the police to provide a copy for a $2 fee. In a separate case a live-in housekeeper was left stranded when her former employer had Bekins Storage hold her belongings and charge $280 in storage fees after she was forced to leave without warning. Legal Aid suggested possible civil action, but she is reluctant to pursue it.
