Continental Airlines names new chairman and president
Continental Airlines appointed Robert F. Six 67 as chairman and named Mexander Damm as president and chief operating officer at a Denver board meeting. Six will remain CEO until April 1978, with Damm rising from senior vice president finance to lead operations. The board created a planning committee to review all divisions monthly and project the next CEO from among six, Damm Bucks Cotter Six.
