Police guard Prime Minister’s son after kidnapping threats
In Brighton England police guarded Giles Wilson son of Prime Minister Harold Wilson after threats to kidnap him and the premier’s father. A detective rode with him as he left his seaside home to attend his college, while police with dogs patrolled Brighton College. The threat traced to a Telegraph report about nine men aiming to abduct Giles to pressure release of two Irishmen jailed in Leeds. The letter warned of possible killing if needed.
