Lindbergh son recalls hush on famous flight in exclusive AP interview
Scott Lindbergh says his father Charles A Lindbergh avoided discussing the 1927 New York to Paris flight at home. He notes the topic remained a forbidden subject, only briefly mentioned around the Sinclair Stewart film and never dwelt on as part of daily life. He reflects on the public reaction after the flight and the era’s atmosphere.
