The Ebell Matrons honor the Adelaide Tichenor Clinic for Children with a brace fund drive. Clarice Mhoon Lewis reports braces costing 1842 dollars help 10 children walk straighter, almost doubling the typical annual aid. Funds came from member contributions and the Tichenor Clinic benefit, as 160 members participate. Colorful decor and leis accompanied the luncheon as leadership shifted to Charles Ritz and emphasis on expanding the clinic project.
