Pension plan regulation urged in California bill
A seven member commission would regulate private pension plans in California under a measure introduced in the State Assembly by Bob Wilson. The California Private Pension Protection Act of 1974 targets plans with more than 25 employees, requires vesting, full funding, and fiduciary standards, and calls for hearings in June.
