Kennedy Losing in West Virginia Primary
A Charleston WV report notes West Virginia Democrats plan to vote against Kennedy in the May presidential primary. Observers say Humphrey leads among anti Kennedy Catholics, with some predicting up to 60 percent of votes against him. Reporters cite talks with hundreds of local Democrats over the past ten days and warn of a potentially fatal setback to Kennedy’s bid for the Democratic nomination.
