Conclave GOP to Hear on CFWC Bill Grant Schedule
The 57th annual California Federation of Women's Clubs convention runs May 9 to 12 at the Sige Hotel in Los Angeles. The program highlights include a banquet for state president Mrs A F Benson, a general session on revisions and candidate presentations, a film award luncheon, a parliamentary workshop, and closing officer installations. William Grant will address Legislative Problems for 1960 at a Los Altos Republican Women luncheon, with Edwan Wade and Claude Ryerson speaking as candidates for city council. Further events include a study group on the Connelly Amendment and a salon membership tea welcoming new members at 72 Terrainé Ave. Past Noble Grand's Club lunch meets at Colonial Hall.
