Fat Chance Bob Aims for Angels First Base Job
In Yuma, Arizona, Bob Chance endures jokes about his weight as he trains to win a spot on the Angels varsity. Coach Rigney backs his dedication while Chance weighs 230 pounds and eyes about 217 at season start. Chance leads spring hitting with nine hits in 16 at bats and credits coach Dolph Camilli for his plate improvement.
