Danny's Comeback Reignites Local Entertainment Scene
Danny, his wife Nancy, son Jimmy, and their family revived their showbiz life after a costly health scare. Benefactors funded his hospital bills, and his return to performing draws crowds at Cherie's Can Can and other venues. He works piano and organ, with a distinctive husky voice and a family act featuring Nancy and Jimmy. He recently planned a new Tequila version with Hank Castro and performed for 5,000 fans in Monte. The scene shifts to Alfred Restaurant’s Tempo II with Tony Giannini and Denise, and Pat Davis continues at Green Frog, delivering nostalgia from the 1930s and 40s alongside contemporary numbers.
