Farmout tests in Kings County oil field progress
In Kings County a 5,000-foot test is set at the Jeazes area with the Gallatin No. 1-28 and others in the same block. Humble Oil and Refining Co. operates with W Holmes overseeing five interests in a farmout. Wells are being drilled near the Moketumne River area and West Thornton field as producers and dry holes are reported, depth estimates around 4,000 to 5,000 feet.
