One-time homeowner exemption law hailed
County Assessor Philip Watson hailed passage of a new law signed by Gov Reagan that ends yearly filing for the $1 750 homeowners exemption. Taxpayers who file by April 16 keep the exemption until title changes or occupancy ends.
