AF Probes Plane Blast That Killed 1
An Air Force investigation team led by Col. Leslie W. Holman searched for the cause of a BAT jet in flight explosion that killed Lt. William T. Booy of Kansas City and injured Capt. Albert J. Soen and Capt. John H. Gillick near Tulsa Oklahoma. Debris covered an eight square mile area, with no residents hurt and minor property damage.
