Sirhan Killed Symbol of Father in Kennedy Trial
Dr. Martin Schorr testified that Sirhan Bis hara symbolically killed his father by killing Kennedy, explaining the 24 year old Jordanian hated his father and sought a socially unacceptable act. He described Sirhan as psychotically disturbed with memory lapses and a Jekyll Hyde personality, saying murder was predictable with a reasonable degree of certainty. The testimony followed Sirhan’s outburst and discussed his attempt to plead guilty and be executed. Francis B. Kent of the Los Angeles Times will speak on Latin American turbulence at California State College, Long Beach.
