Truck driver Philip Reidel 27 of Buffalo suburb and a companion sought shelter during a severe East Chicago snowstorm on January 28. A cafe shooting left a .22 slug in Reidel chest grazing the heart and lung. He recovered with the bullet in his lung and later expelled it, doctors unsure how it moved.
