Expansion of Nu-Pike Expansion Plans Eyed
Expansion of Nu-Pike eyed as a broad program to expand and modernize attractions in Long Beach. The plan would settle land title and use disputes from Daisy Ave to Alamitos Ave, drop damage claims, deed surface rights to the city, and follow State Lands Commission and AG guidance. Past boundary disputes go back to 1903 with claims of 1.5 and 1.2 million dollars, none pressed in court.
