Six boys freed girl in escape at detention home
In Lander Wyoming six teens along with a 15 year old girl escaped the Salt Lake County Detention Frame, forcing entry and taking two cars. Sheila Hedly McDougall identified the group which included Kenneth Hulse Duane Thompson Norman Leroy Weiseman Philip Macz and Mike Bishop all from Salt Lake City. The girl was taken along willingly by three youths and charges were not yet filed as she remained in jail in Lander while the six awaited further action near Shoshoni Wyoming after the pursuit by Utah and FBI officers.
