Hitchhiker pair tarred by four men held in Gilroy
Two San Francisco hitchhikers said four men kidnapped them after offering a ride near Gilroy. They were doused with a liquid similar to turpentine, dumped in a field, and walked to a service station before police were called. A fourth man surrendered for investigation.
