Lear Heads Back to Wichita as Bruinsma Resigns
Lear Jet Industries moves corporate headquarters from Los Angeles to Wichita Kansas. President T A Bruinsma resigns for personal and family reasons. Lear founder Will Lear Sr had moved to Wichita earlier to be near the plant. Separately gunmen rob three Los Angeles banks, netting about 77 000 dollars in total. The Bank of America branch yielded 75 000, plus 2 000 and 860 from two Security First banks.
