County defers action as RTD seeks $13 million boost
RTD faced a Tuesday board hearing after requesting a $13 million addition to finance 300 new buses and two trial grid systems in South Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley. Supervisors also delayed endorsing the one tent sales tax boost slated for November and postponed a joint RTD meeting to review the Master Plan amid budget cutbacks and funding debates.
