Long Beach State aids handicapped students progress
Dr. Farber tells Long Beach Rotarians about how access and inclusion have improved at California State University at Long Beach. A handicapped students committee formed to remove architectural and social barriers, leading to ramps, braille signs, accessible facilities, and a student association with paid staff. New leaders and awards show growing campus involvement and a fund gathering community support for ongoing improvements.
