Residents near the Long Beach Freeway south of the Arlesia St interchange endured months of fence crashing crashes and a terrifying night hum until safety fixes dimmed the lights, added shrubs, and replaced damaged fencing. Police, city offices, and highways division led the improvements. since completion there has been only one crash. Neighbor Leah Grubb complains about shrub watering amid dry weather.
