Battle over counselor reclassification at Norwalk High
Norwalk High School educators clash with Norwalk La Mirada Unified School District over reclassifying counselor Joseph Armijo to a teaching post. District cites declining enrollment as basis, while supporters allege bias and demand clear criteria. Armijo faces potential $1.7 year salary drop and a fall start in a math teaching position.
