Featherstones Crowned World’s Loudest Mouths at Championship
Michael Featherstone and wife, pub owners on the Yorkshire coast, won the title as the world’s loudest mouths in the Second World Shouting Championships. Mrs Featherstone reached 109.7 decibels to defend her women’s title, while Michael hit 110 decibels, short of last year’s 111-decibel winner, a fisherman. The event overshadowed by an evacuation area in Oklahoma with Interstate 35 closed and National Guardsmen aiding traffic and crowd control.
