Five Die As Camper and Bus Collide Near Port Royal
A Greyhound bus with service men traveling north and a southbound pickup camper collided on a curve near Port Royal Virginia. Five persons died including the drivers and several others were injured. A Baltimore sailor recalled waking as the crash occurred, and debris spread for about 75 yards along Route 17 near the town.
