Panther Leader Testifies About Oakland Shootout
David Hilliard, Panther chief of staff, testified he was present during the April 1988 Oakland gunfight but did not shoot. He described fleeing after police halted the scene and denied carrying a weapon that night. His testimony, along with other trial statements, precedes final arguments in Alameda County Superior Court.
