Wheelchair-bound Wisconsin man wins Illinois lottery prize

CHICAGO EUGENE REES a 3¢-year-old bachelor from Cambridge Wis who has spent nearly six years in a wheelchair won 300000 in the Illinois State Lottery bonanza drawing Thursday night. Rees answered plans for the money by saying most would start with a wheelchair accessible house equipped with ramps and other devices. He noted he has not worked since his confinement.
