Disputed Sublease Denied for Wilmington Yacht Marina
Los Angeles Harbor Commissioners refused to approve a sublease to Challenger Yacht Corp by Wilmington Yacht Marina Inc. president Charles B. Slater, citing willful possession withholding, unsupportable allegations, breach of lease terms, bankruptcy status, and lack of good faith. The marina at Berth 184-185 remains under a court appointed receiver as two lawsuits seek recovery of funds.
